Our class schedule provides students with the opportunity to achieve one proficiency level (A1, A2 , ... C2) in one year. This may be accomplished by participating in 3 consecutive sessions à 12 weeks each with 3 hours of instruction per week.

The Dallas Goethe Center General German Language Courses are designed for beginners as well as advanced learners. The materials correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and range from A1 for beginners to C2 for language skills at the highest level.

In our courses at levels A1 to C2 students learn how to read, write and speak German. The main focus is on steady improvement in the student’s language proficiency and on increased communicative and intercultural competencies.

If a student is interested in obtaining a certification or a diploma for work, study or a visa, he or she will be able to take the Goethe-Institut’s (GI) internationally recognized proficiency exams through the Dallas Goethe Center.

The next Goethe-Institut exams are scheduled for:

  • May 6, 2018 (registration deadline 4/6/18)
  • September 9, 2018 (registration deadline 8/9/2018)
